Two truths and a lie

*Note: if you haven’t yet read the “Connect with author Pete Hall” page on our website, you might want to go back and do that BEFORE you see which of the three achievements Pete actually did…and which he fibbed about.

And without any further ado…

…here’s the truth:

A. In August of 2016, Pete completed a full IronMan triathlon (swam 2.4 miles, biked 112 miles, then ran 26.2 miles) in his hometown of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. “It was a long day,” Pete recalls. “And, honestly, it’s not something I’m ever going to do again.”

B. Over the years, Pete has played a lot of golf, and he’s occasionally hit a ball onto the green on a par-3 hole. However, he’s never scored a hole-in-one. This is a blatant lie.

C. In April of 1998, Pete was selected from the crowd at ARCO Arena during a Sacramento Kings basketball game and brought down to the floor to take a half-court shot. The rest, as they say, is history:
